Article published on 09-10-2025On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the UNESCO Chair in STEM Education (TRRISE) was officially launched, established with the mission of bridging the gap between cutting-edge scientific research and the educational systems that shape future generations.
In a world driven by technological innovation, access to quality STEM education must be inclusive, future-oriented, and based on the latest research and discoveries, as highlighted on the TRRISE website.
The launch event, entitled "Creating BONDS for the Future: Building Opportunities through Networks, Dialogue, and Sustainability in Education," brought together representatives from academia, public institutions, and civil society to encourage dialogue and collaboration in addressing global sustainability challenges through innovative and transdisciplinary approaches to research and education.
This meeting provided a valuable platform for exploring partnership opportunities, exchanging best practices, and discussing innovative strategies that can contribute to building inclusive and equitable knowledge societies.
The event took place jointly with the annual meeting of UNESCO Chairs in Romania, both events being hosted at the Oteteleșanu Manor, within the National Institute for Research and Development in Materials Physics in Măgurele.
