Specific objectives of NCR UNESCO in the COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION domain
- Improving access to information and knowledge, in particular the mission, objectives, resolutions and programs of UNESCO and NCR UNESCO;
- Promoting the exchange of information and freedom of expression;
- Encourage the use of multilingualism and universal access to the virtual space, including through the promotion of global rules and policies on the Internet;
- Facilitate the use of the latest information technologies;
- Promoting free, pluralist and independent media and strengthening the professional capacity of journalists and press institutions.
