Partnership between schools and university education system

STEM teachers from primary, secondary and high schools were invited to participate with innovative projects that improve the teaching of science subjects with the aim of sharing and expanding best practices in STEM education in Romania during the Science on Stage Romania 2025 National Festival.
The STEM projects selected in the final of the competition organized by the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development and Climate Change at the BabeČ™-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca, together with Science on Stage Romania, with the support of ISJ Cluj and the Casino Urban Culture Centre - Cluj Napoca City Hall, were presented on 24th and 25th of May, 2025.
On this occasion, Gabriela Gabor, National Commission of Romania for UNESCO representative, and ASPnet National Coordinator, emphasized the importance of STEM education in schools and welcomed the partnership between schools and university education system.
Out of the 17 participating projects, which included the project of the Transylvania College team, ASPnet for UNESCO member school, the jury chose 7 projects that will represent Romania at the European Science on Stage Festival 2026 to be held from 28-31 May 2026 in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
