”UNESCO Art and Heritage” creation camp at Sucevița Monastery

The Cultural Center "Mihai Eminescu" in Bucharest, in partnership with the National Commission of Romania for UNESCO, organized between 12-26 October 2020 an artistic residency "UNESCO Art and Heritage" dedicated to the UNESCO World Heritage in Northern Moldova.
The event is in its 11th edition and aims to promote the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Romania. During the residence, photographers, journalists, painters met, who, through their message, pointed out the importance of the educational act for the capitalization of the cultural heritage.
The painters participating in the project held artistic creativity workshops in the courtyard of the Sucevița monastery, in order to bring to the visitors' attention the importance of preserving, protecting and promoting the cultural treasure inherited from previous generations.
The painters participating in the project were: Silviu Roșca, Romania, Shina Hoang, USA, Dumitru Macovei, Romania, Dragoș Bojin, Romania, Dagmar Oprea, Romania, Victor Frimu, Republic of Moldova, Radu Negru, Republic of Moldova, Alexandra Maiakovski, Romania, Diana Caisin, Romania, Valentin Caisin, Republic of Moldova, Valeriu Sepi, Romania.
The local partners of the project were Casa Octavian, Sucevița, Voitinel City Hall and the meat producer Killer.
